Fancy winning a long weekend break on the north Cornwall coast? Well, here’s your chance.
Following on from the success of our 2024 photographic competition for Gwelmor guests, we've decided to run it again this year.
We are inviting anyone who stays with us during 2025 to submit up to three photographs of your pooches enjoying their holiday with us in Widemouth Bay.
The images can be of them exploring the local sights such as the South West Coast Path, bounding around on the beach or simply chilling out in Gwelmor.
The winning image will be treated to an out of season long weekend break at Gwelmor to be taken during 2026.
To give you an idea of what we’re looking for, we’ve included some of this year’s entries in this blog. The overall winning image is our blog cover photo ofVerne the grey Weimaraner playing with his toy on Widemouth Bay taken by owner Karen.
Karen told us: "Thank you sooo much for choosing our boy’s picture! We are over the moon! I just told him we are going to Gwelmor and he’s jumped up and got all excited!"
But judges had a tough decision this year so decided to award a runner up prize of a 15% discount voucher to use against their next booking at Gwelmor.
That prize went to Alex with her stunning sunset shot of Casper and Robin on the beach (top of page).
So, if you fancy putting your creative skills to the test, book you stay with us in2024 and get snapping!

· All images must be taking during your stay with us in 2025
· Up to 3 images may be submitted
· Closing date for entries is December 31, 2024.
· Winner will be announced in January 2026 newsletter
· Judge's decision is final
· Prize must be taken during 2026 (Friday to Monday) and is subject to availability
