Widemouth Bay has been named one of the 10 best surf spots in the UK in joint position with Crooklets in Bude.
Outdoor clothing brand D-Robe has revealed the top surf locations the country - and five of them are in Cornwall.
The data analysed a range of factors including water cleanliness, surfer ratings, accessibility, average wind levels, pollution and sunlight. From that, an overall index score was calculated for each beach resulting in the rankings.
Widemouth Bay and Crooklets both scored 62.5 out of 100.
Widemouth, just four minutes walk from Gwelmor holiday cottage's front door, is great for both experienced surfers as well as novices as there are a number of surf schools based on the beach to help newbies get to grips with the techniques.
