There is plenty to see and do with on a dog-friendly holiday with us in Widemouth Bay. We’ve compiled our Top 10 list of things to keep you busy:
Bude Sea Pool: Bude’s semi-natural sea pool beneath Summerleaze beach is the town's number one attraction. It is open daily and free to swim. Dogs are welcome on leads and a water bowl is provided, but beware, there’s no shade to keep them cool in summer

Tintagel Castle: Immerse yourself in mystery and myths at this medieval fortification that has long associations with the legends of King Arthur. Set high on Cornwall’s jagged north coast headland it has amazing views over the Cornish sea. Dogs are welcome but there are a lot of steps and cliff edges so keep them on leads for safety
Pencarrow Gardens: A Grade II listed garden, Iron Age fort, children’s play area, café and gift shop, there’s something for everyone here. Dogs are welcome and have 50 acres to explore but should be kept on leads around the grand Georgian house and café as there are free range chickens and peacocks!
The Milky Way Adventure Park: This all-weather attraction is packed with fun from rollercoasters to soft play and dodgems to its own Milky Way railway around the grounds. Dogs must be kept on leads, are permitted in most of the site but not allowed in the bird of prey centre, carpeted play areas or the rides
Bude Canal: A unique waterway originally built for transporting lime rich sand to local farms, today it's mostly for fun with canoes, kayaks, pedalos and bikes for hire. The level towpath is also idea for wheelchair users or families with pushchairs. A great place for walking the dog
Clovelly: This picturesque ancient working fishing village is set in the side of a 400 foot cliff, the only traffic being sledges and donkeys. Its steep, cobbled streets are lined with pretty cottages and winding lanes. Privately owned you park in the visitors car park at the top and walk down to explore. Dogs must be kept on leads
